Twitter, The Chat Room For The Starbucks Generation

Twitter is, I believe, the new place to chat. However, being that many people can see your “tweets,” it may not be a good idea to say just anything. Twitter is more than a wave of the future, twitter is one of the best ways to communicate your message faster than the speed of light. Twitter is now being used by companies to listen to the needs and desires of its costumers.

People across the word are having twitter meetings and networking with each just to talk about their “tweets.” Now, there are other sites for micro-blogging, but twitter is the head liner. To have a major spot on twitter, is like to have floor sets at the Laker’s game. Why, is there such a need for twitter. Well, as the saying goes, “being in the know,” twitter makes a name for you and your company, having a large number of followers is like having money in the bag.

Having a twitter site validates you as having a great ability to network with like minded people, now this does not mean just singing up will get you a lot of people listening to you. There is a lot of work involved, and that work at times can go into the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes, when I get up in the morning I grab my phone and drop a “tweet.” Yea, you could call me crazy, but after a few months I have become addicted.

Twitter is only a foot print in the grand scale of things, and having a site should only be apart of your grander message. Twitter is a tool in building the brand of you, so you should never look at it as an be all. Yes, you can link things to your other sites, but please make sure that this is a focused message. My goal here is to bring a light on the politics of the thing. As many in the twitter nation do, we all have fun as well, but while having fun you are still sending a message, and that message is you.

A friend of mine has developed a company dealing with twitter skins, as he would say “pimping” the out. All this is, is adding your touch to an extension of you. Companies and future employers will be looking at these things from now on. Also, you may thing you own you, but in today’s internet, you are not even yourself. If you do not get your twitter name you maybe represented in a manor that you would not like. You could call it twitter identity theft.

Streaming information is the way of the right now generation, many of us wish to be famous, if the famous people you love and admire are ponying up and getting there names, and “tweeting” don’t you think you should. Twitter and other sites give you right now info on Government, stocks, and other things that may interest you. All you have to do is go and sign up.
